Our day begins as we bid farewell to the dazzling lights of Las Vegas and venture westward, skimming past the shimmering expanse of Lake Mead and the engineering marvel that is the Hoover Dam. Our ultimate destination? One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World—the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon. As we approach this iconic masterpiece of nature, anticipation builds. Arriving in the morning, we board a native Hualapai transport shuttle that carries us to our first breathtaking destination: Eagle Point.
Eagle Point is home to the world-famous Grand Canyon Skywalk, an architectural wonder like no other. This horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extends boldly 4,000 feet above the canyon floor, offering unmatched, heart-stopping views of the West Rim. Step onto the Skywalk, and you’ll feel as though you’re floating amidst the clouds, surrounded by a sweeping 360-degree panorama of one of Earth’s most magnificent landscapes. Admission to this extraordinary experience is included, ensuring you can fully immerse yourself in its wonder.
After your Skywalk adventure, take a moment to delve into the rich heritage of the Hualapai Tribe with a visit to their Native American village. Wander among authentic dwellings, learning about their history and culture, before enjoying a delectable lunch at the air-conditioned Skywalk Café. Relish your meal as you soak in stunning views of the canyon—an unforgettable backdrop for your dining experience.
The adventure continues as we make our way to Guano Point, a destination renowned for its cinematic beauty and unparalleled vistas. This remarkable location has graced Hollywood screens for decades, thanks to its rugged topography and dramatic scenery. Whether you choose to savor the panoramic views or embark on one of the area’s scenic trails, Guano Point promises to captivate your spirit. One particularly fascinating trail leads to the remnants of an old tram site, once used to ferry miners across an 8,800-foot chasm to the historic bat guano mines that gave this point its name.
After exploring the area, return to Guano Point’s Hualapai market, where you can browse and purchase exquisite handmade arts and crafts created by the tribe’s talented artisans. For one last indulgence, treat yourself to a meal at the outdoor Guano Point Café. As you dine, the canyon’s dramatic vistas unfold before you, making every bite as memorable as the view.
With hearts full of awe and memories to treasure, we begin our return journey to Las Vegas, arriving in the early evening. This once-in-a-lifetime adventure will leave you in awe of nature’s grandeur, the spirit of the Hualapai people, and the magic of the Grand Canyon.
We gather our group at 8-8:30am at the specified location. Additional info will be provided.
